OUR MISSION
MONTESIERRA COL is a non-profit entity that, through the promotion of innovative coffee production, developed with environmental sustainability and social orientation criteria, delivers high-quality products to customers in order to increase participation in national markets and in a short time, reach international markets. At the same time, it ensures the well-being of the Colombian coffee grower through an effective, democratic and representative trade organization.

1. CULTIVATION
The quality starts in the sowing. We use certified seeds of variety COLOMBIA (90%) and CATURRA (10%) , germinated in the same farms, avoiding the excessive use of agrochemicals and using the system of production under shades (shade-grown) obtaining a unique microclimate.

2. COLLECTION
At the time of harvesting, the maximum advantage productivity of ripened grains is taken of thanks to human talent coming from the interior of the country and the region.

3. BENEFIT
Using the latest technology equipment, efficient in the wet process, the grains of grapes are pulped and classified, using minimal amounts of water in the process to contribute to the sustainable development of the planet.

4. DRYING
Through silos or drying areas (PATIOS), a strict control of temperature is maintained without exceeding 40 ° centigrade (104 ° F) for its preservation, keeping the humidity levels between 10 and 12 percent. We store the coffee avoiding damages to the grains, contamination of odors and substances.

5. SALES
In our production process we offer to the world market an organic coffee with the unique flavor of the region, characteristic for its geographical location and its people.

We will be an innovative coffee Association, recognized in the region for our constant pursuit of continuous improvement of our processes in coffee marketing, with trained personnel, achieving results of economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
